She was born on March 9, 1950 as the only child of Lansing and Edith Gordon in Gainesville, Florida.
She grew up in Florida, mostly in Homestead and then West Palm Beach.
After graduation from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, she worked in several medical laboratories in hospitals, doctor offices, and independent laboratories until retirement in 2021.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dallas H. Durrance, PE.
A Memorial and visitation service will be held on Saturday August 23, 2025 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33405. A burial will be at 3:00PM at adjacent Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
