Dorothy L. Hillier, age 88, formerly of West Palm Beach and Pahokee, FL, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Brunswick, GA. Born October 9, 1926 in Arcadia, FL, Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of several service organizations as well as a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by her son, Commander David G. Hillier, USN, Ret. (Janet Hillier) of St. Mary's, GA; her daughter, Lydia A. Cosby of Murphy, NC; her grandsons, Daniel Byrd of Murphy, NC, Steven Nelson of Port Charlotte, FL, and her granddaughter, Hunter Nelson of Port Charlotte, FL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gorden J. Hillier and second husband, Frank F. Delbene. Friends and relatives may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION AND EVENT CENTER, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach. A Graveside Service and interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
