My aunt Dorothy lived a long wonderful life playing golf almost every day. I only spent very little time with her since we lived On the west coast. My mother Thelma was her sister. My favorite memory of her was when I was about 10 years old. She and Dave came to California for a visit. One day after school she took me to get ice cream before dinner. My mother would never allow that. I thought she was the coolest aunt anyone could ever have.

Dorothy was just wonderful. I loved every second I had the honour of being with her. Of course these times always included eating, which she loved. I love & already miss you Dorothy.

On June 18, 2020 my beloved aunt, Dorothy Nudelman passed away from natural causes at the age of 101 in Florida. She loved to play golf with my uncle Dave who passed away in 2004.
What was so remarkable about my aunt was her mind, which at the age 101 was still sharp. She was still driving her car at the age of 95.
Dorothy loved to shop, play cards and Mah-jongg with her tight group of lady friends.
My aunt made fabulous dinner parties and was quite the cook. One of her specialties was cherry chicken and a very tasty chili.
Last year I was able to plan her 100th birthday party. She picked the restaurant and we had the most amazing time with friends.
My aunt called me almost every day, dialing my phone number from memory to see how I was. She was the longest living relative in my family and I will miss her daily phone calls and her enthusiasm for everything I accomplished in my life.
Thank you aunt Dorothy for your encouragement, your advice and wisdom. Say hello to my mom and dad... See you when I get to the “other-side...” ❤️❤️Jorie
