

Dorothy Vazquez,passed away on December 15, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. She was born in Camaguay, Cuba on February 26, 1917 to the late Mr. Jose Vazquez and the late Mrs. Gladys (nee Straub) Vazquez and migrated to the United States in 1962. Dorothy loved her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and was a devout Christian. She raised her family with strong moral, ethical, christian values and provided for them by working hard with her hands to make a living and supply bread for the table. Dorothy worked for the Sailfish Marina as a hostess and server for many years. Dorothy was greeted in Heaven by her husband, Bienvenido Manresa and three of her brothers, Donald Vazquez, Joe Vazquez, and Byron Vazquez. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; three loving children, Miriam M. Vitale and her husband, Mark, Carlos Alberto Manresa and his wife, Frances, and Aida Manresa Bach; her six loved grandchildren, Jennifer Michele Compton, Elizabeth Ann Wriggle, Michael J.R. Smith, Jamison Carlos Manresa, Dina Marie Russell and Austin Stewart Bach; eleven adored great grandchildren, Samantha Courtney Smith, Kayla Rene'e Smith, Daphne Lauren Smith, Ian Alexander Compton, Piper Leigh Compton, Patricia Ann Wriggle, Brittany Nicole Wriggle, Kaley Lynn Wriggle, Eden Manresa, Evan Manresa, and Brayton Andrew Russell; her admired brother, Manuel Vazquez; her devoted sister, Anna Meckstroth; and her nine nieces and nephews, Janet Alessi, Nancy Hoeff, Kathy Vazquez, Alfred Vazquez, Gus Vazquez, David Vazquez, Richard Vazquez, Clyde Meckstroth and Steve Meckstroth.
