88 years old, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Charles E. and Mary M. Farrell Hampson, Edward joined the Merchant Marines at an early age to serve during WWII. He married Suzann I. Kemppel on September 16, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Miami, FL. In 1965 he moved to West Palm Beach and worked for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company and later went to work at the Palm Beach County School Board until her retired at the age of 71. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Suzann; his son, Kenneth K. Hampson (Alice); his daughter, Lois M. Martin (David); his grandchildren, Jennifer Enck, Laura A Hampson (Andrew), and Cory J. Hampson and his great grandson, Dominic Enek-Sprague. Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 12noon until 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM with the interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
