Enid Ann was born on July 21st, 1931 in St. Thomas, Jamaica, W.I. She grew up and attended Primary and Secondary schools in Kingston, Jamaica. She then pursued her nursing career at Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital and Kingston Public Hospital School of Nursing.
In 1961, Enid married Gerald Gilliam. This union yielded 2 children – Carol and Dwight. With her family, she later relocated to NYC in 1968. Enid worked as a nurse in New York City medical centers and nursing homes while she pursued her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She graduated in 1988. In 2002, she relocated to Florida.
At an early age, Enid committed her life to Christ, a commitment she honored throughout her life. One of the highlights of her life was her visit in 2012 to Israel. She experienced tremendous satisfaction from this trip. On her return home, she was most happy to know that she was able to visit sights which she had read about in the Bible. This was a life-changing experience.
Enid had been an active member of Grace Fellowship until her passing. She is survived by daughter Carol, son Dwight, grand-daughters Holly and Alyssa, cousins and many loving friends.
