I just "met" Frances a few months ago via Ancestry research into my father's family, the Daskams. Frances was my father's first cousin and she shared stories of their childhood that I am so grateful for and will always cherish. Thank you cousin Frances and godspeed.

The Langdon home was that house in the neighborhood where all the kids would gather. It was a safe and fun home to play. You were always welcomed. I remember playing in their backyard with Beth, Tom, and Lindy what a great swing set. You felt like you could reach the sky. Thank you Mrs Langdon for all your love and grace to all the neighborhood kids. While we morn, heaven is rejoicing with you going home.

When I met Aunt Frannie, Joe's aunt, I saw her love of her grandchildren and her desire to have all the family members know each other. We had many wonderful meals with her sister, my mother-in-law, Jessie, both at Fair Oaks and out at various restaurants around the area. Aunt Frannie was so smart but made others feel that they were also smart and that they mattered. Her love of life and especially of her family was palpable and she would write us long letters detailing her life, which will be always treasured. Our children, her great nieces and nephew, love her deeply and she will be remembered always with great joy and love.

I just remember your love of life. I remember how you smiled through adversity and loved to dance. I remember you were always kind and always seemed to see the good around you. You were the rock of your family and you raised beautiful children. I hope you are at peace dancing in the clouds above us.

My mom, my rock, my beacon in the dark. Your light may have been extinguished, but it will always shine bright in our hearts.
I’m not sure how to live a life without you. Thank you for being the best mother and friend that anyone could ever hope for. I will be eternally grateful that you were mine
