Frederic A. Southern

Frederic Arthur Southern, 67, of Stuart, Florida passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024. He was born on August 29, 1956, in West Palm Beach at Good Samaritan Hospital to Antoinette and Frederic Pendelton Southern.

Fred’s successful career in roofing sales spanned over 35 years, working for East Coast Supply, Sunniland Corporation, Campany Roofing and Roofman, Inc. He was known by his customers for his compassionate and reliable demeanor. The awards, news articles, and certificates he accumulated over the years were invaluable to him. He is survived by his loving wife Carol DeYoung and stepson Logan Millar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antoinette Biagiotti, Frederic Pendelton Southern, Raymond A. Biagiotti (uncle). Fred’s passions were fishing and boating. He enjoyed cooking with his wife, was an articulate gardener, and loved art shows. His favorite time of day was the golden hour and watching the sunset. A true southern gentleman, he will always be remembered for his big heart, caring concern, words of wisdom, and proper etiquette.

A memorial service will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral Home located at 6411 Parker Avenue in West Palm Beach on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, at 11:00am.
