George William Azecusky, 74 years old, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. Born in Warren, OH, George was the son of Stanley Frank and Susan Chappel Azecusky. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years (1964-1968) on the USS McCloy out of Boston, MA. After moving to West Palm Beach he worked at the West Palm Beach Water Treatment Plant for 25 years. After retiring in 2000, George enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, painting, any kind of puzzles, reading and cooking.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Jo Azecusky; his sister, Carol Boardley (husband, Tom) of Warren, OH; his niece and nephew, Sharon and Lonnie Azecusky of Chappells, SC; his step-daughters, Becki Rafferty of Newcastle, PA and Toma Sue Kronewitter (husband, Andy); and his 2 grandchildren, Cadence and Maddie Rafferty, raised by their father, Ron Rafferty of Mercer, PA. Also surviving are his In-Laws; Carol Copeland and son, Jason, of Jacksonville, FL; Jon and Alice Copp of Okeechobee, FL, Larry Copp of Okeechobee, FL, Ron Copp of Cleveland, TN, Ruth and Lamar Andrews and family of Okeechobee, FL, and Judy and Pat Chirdon of Danville, VA. Committal Services with Military Honors will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
