

George Habib Mansour departed this life after a long illness on Nov 1st, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. George was born on November 9, 1937 in Beirut Lebanon to Habib and Habseh Mansour as the 3rd of 8 children. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 56 years, Naimeh Mansour, their children, Mireille Makhoul (Ramsey), Joyce Mansour (Fadi Haydar), Habib George Mansour (Denise), and Tania Molite (John). His grandchildren Danielle Shalhoub (Paul), John & Nicole Faris, Dina Moore (Jason), Andrew, Marc & Jenna Molite and 2 great grandchildren, Vivian Shalhoub and Rhett Moore. He is also survived by his siblings, Josephine Shaybe, Rose Khattar, Annette Karim (Albert), Sami Mansour(Lucie) and Samia Mansour all in Lebanon and many nieces and nephews in Lebanon, US, Australia and Canada. He was predeceased by his parents Habib and Habseh Mansour, his siblings, Georgette Khoury and Elias Mansour.
George migrated from Lebanon in 1975 to escape the war and start a new life for his family in Florida. George was an active member of Mary Mother of the Light and the Syrian Lebanese American Club. George had a great talent at looking at a piece of cloth and turning it into a beautiful dress. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mary Mother of Light in George's memory. May he rest in peace and his memories be eternal.
