born March 15th, 1931 in Dorothy, NJ and long-time resident of West Palm Beach passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on May 10, 2015. George began his career with the Florida Road Department, worked for Boys Incorporated, and later formed a mechanical contracting company, Palm Beach Air, Inc. where he served as Vice-President. He was a proud member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 630 Union. George’s greatest passion was serving as Deacon at New Hope Community Church and Westside Alliance Church (formally Military Trail Community Chapel).
George is survived by his wife of 63 years Chrisana, his son George Edward Richert, Jr., and his three grandchildren Clariza Ana Richert, Juliana Dora Richert, and George (Charlie) Edward Richert, III.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. In lieu of Flowers, George’s wishes are donations be made to the Evangelical Bible Mission and New Hope Community Church.
