

Ivy M Spencer, age 94, of West Palm Beach, Florida was born on March 17, 1928, in Krawl District, Mocho, Clarendon, Jamaica West Indies to parents Dr. Stanley Lennon and Ms. Francella Lloyd (both deceased). Ms. Ivy is one of nine children on her father’s side and one of 11 children on her mother’s side (all deceased except one).
In 1970, Ivy had the opportunity to visit the United States on a domestic visa from a family in Baltimore, Maryland. She later moved to West Palm Beach, FL. Ms. Ivy was a Seamstress, Housekeeper and later a Baker at Morrison’s Cafeteria in West Palm Beach, Fl. Ms. Ivy was hardworking, caring and a very quiet and loving person who would give a helping hand to anyone that comes in contact with her. She enjoyed sharing her special cornbread and specialty ice tea with family and friends. Especially with her grandchildren.
On August 27, 2022, Ms. Ivy went to sleep peacefully surrounded by family members at Good Samaritan Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories, her four (4) loving children: Earl L. Edwards Sr. (Marjorie) Easemera Brown Augustus (Aaron), Coralee Edwards and Lorna Edwards Ebanks (Eric Sr.) all of West Palm Beach. Thirteen (13 Grandchildren: Arnaldo Thompson (Claudette), Robert Jones, Staceyann Kerr, Preslely Burrell Sr., Andrew Burrell, David Stubbs Jr (Mela), Christopher Brown, Cassandra Edwards, Earl Edwards Jr. Marcia Edwards (deceased). Deanna Rahming (Derrick), Leona Shelton (Paul Jr.) Eric Ebanks Jr. (Alicia); 44 Great grandchildren and 14 Great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Johnny Dunkley (Angie) of West Palm Beach. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including a special family friend Brother Winston Peck who would call her every night before she goes to bed.

A celebration of life for Ivy will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1400 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33401. A committal service will occur Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 GREENWOOD AVE, WEST PALM BEACH, FL 33407. A visitation will occur Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1400 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
