I am glad that both of you were there give him the support during his trying times dealing with his care.
Even with his sickness he continued on never missing a beat.

Michael and Tommy, we can only imagine how much you miss Jack. We miss him too. He was a proud American original, always filled with enthusiasm for life and adventure. The Good Lord blessed him with endless energy, a keen mind and a proficiency with financial statements. That made him one of the best in structuring complex business transactions. A prolific world traveler, his enjoyment of the diversity of the many different places and cultures he visited was infectious. Every person he met was a new friend, and his spirit overflowed with goodwill toward all of them. Teresa and I will always remember and treasure our times with him in London and Istanbul, Dominica, and of course Miami. We share his abiding faith that we will all meet again in a more perfect place, and will remember the Turner family in our prayers. Our sincere condolences at this time of your great loss.

“Fear no more the heat o' the sun,
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Thou thy worldly task hast done,
Home art gone, and ta;en thy wages.”
(William Shakespeare, Cymbeline, Act IV, Scene 2)

Jack and I were partners back in the seventies. He was fun, fun, fun and very bright. I will miss him very much.

With an at times thunderous voice that filled every ounce of air through which audible elements may be carried, be it over the phone or across a room his charming essence has undoubtedly left myself and many who knew him filled with a sense of irredeemable loss

From stories of his Energy Trading days in London to endeavors and chicanery-avoiding dealings in Africa and all points in between, he certainly lived a full, at most times enviable life

Jack Charles Turner will be granted an eternity of peaceful rest in an afterlife of paradise even more blissful than Wellington and Palm Beach provided

To bear this bereavement, may his family draw strength from countless memories, experiences and life lessons imparted and may his legacy - including unfinished faraway endeavors such as myself and Oscar are currently still stoking irons into the fire - be emulated and championed by his children's children ad infinitum

It is well in the heavens

May it ever be well with us who remain here on earth

Adieu and Good Night Jack Charles, Until Our Souls Meet To Greet In Glory Once Again 🙏🏽

Jack Turner, my “far away but always close to me” friend.
Your leads sent me to many different countries and provided me with adventurous moments.
I had hope to share more moments with you and to make more memorable stories.
Because of you, I am now in Zimbabwe, another adventure and hopefully one that will be a special one in memory of you.
I will miss you much, but also will feel you to be as close to me as you have always been......
