My fondest memories of Deacon and Mother Powell are: they were two dedicated soldiers at our church. My husband and I love them and we are going to miss them very much. When I would come to the back of the church, Mother and Deacon Powell would be sitting by the door. He was also a dedicated deacon, always willing to serve as well as Mother. Powell serving on the hospitality committee and in any way possible a a dedicated servant.
Deacon Powell would come and cut the AC system on when it was cold, so that when the saints arrived, the church was nice and warm.
We're going to miss them both very much. Family, we will be lifting you up in prayer Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Thomas. 🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🙏🏾
