

Jim served as President of the West Palm Beach Board of Realtors in 1963 and President of the Florida Association of Realtors in 1969. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Realtors and was chairman of the National Association’s License Law Committee. He was appointed to a 3-year term on the Florida Real Estate Commission in 1971, serving as Chairman his last year. Jim’s community service included tenure as a Commissioner for the City of Palm Beach Gardens’ Site Plan Review, membership in the Kiwanis Club, vestry and usher service to his churches, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, board member for the Salvation Army, founding member of the Children’s Home Society of Palm Beach County, 3 year terms on the Board of Directors of the Greater West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of the Better Business Bureau of Palm Beach County, and a Director of Atlantic National Bank.Jim loved sports and was an avid fan of tennis, golf and football. A dedicated husband and father, Jim is survived by his wife, Katherine Hollenbeck, and his children, Mark Hollenbeck, Sherry Raber, Steven Morris, Phillip Morris, Robert Morris, his 12 grandchildren, and his 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach. Friends may visit with the family from 12 Noon on Thursday until service time.
