Jane Stephens Dionne

Jane Stephens Dionne, 82, passed away serenely in her sleep in Savannah, GA on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Affectionately known by her friends as “Ms. Jane,” she left this world peacefully to join Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Edgar W. Stephens. Those left to cherish Ms. Jane’s memory include her sisters, Patsey Brown, Susan Daniel (Bill), Sandee Peltier, and Mary Ann Matthews (Bill); her children, Eva Stemler and Paul Kimsey (Kim); her grandchildren, Dr. Kathryn Kimsey, Dillon Stemler, Megan Kimsey and Mason Stemler; and many other loving family and friends.

Ms. Jane retired following a career she loved as a recreational supervisor for the City of Savannah, where she enjoyed many years of serving children with after-school and summer activities. Growing up, she was an expert at waterskiing with her sisters and won several trophies. She was an ardent Christian who loved to listen to praise and worship music and to share the joy of the Lord with others.

In Savannah, a Celebration of Life service was held for Ms. Jane on Saturday, Feb. 1st, 2025.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at 11:00 am.
