To the jean sturrock family. I was so sorry to hear about jean and sorry I couldn't attend. I was jean's hairdresser since the late 80's. She was one of the sweetest souls I ever met. I will miss our "movie" conversations among a lot of other subjects. She was a very special person. I will always remember her fondly.

Mrs.Sturrock nursed me through thick and thin during my youth. She healed my friends as well. She is an Angel!

I will miss Mrs.Sturrock who always had my back as a young man. When I cut my foot open at the lake she was there to help. When my friend got his lip impaled by a fish hook at the lake, she was there. We constantly passed through the Sturrock property on our way to the lake, as kids, so we were fortunate to know the Sturrock family. Mr. Sturrock was very strick and Mrs.Sturrock was(is) an angel. Mrs. Sturrock was a constant presence in my first experience with an Angel!

Your mother was one of the kindest and Godly woman we knew. She was such a blessing when our oldest sister Beth passed away back in 1971. May the Lord give you comfort in knowing you'll see her again. We love ya'll. The twins- Sharon (Boyd) & Karen (Macy) Clinton

We were saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. She was the kindest woman we ever met. I enjoyed working for her but most of all talking with her and sharing a laugh. She will be greatly missed by our family. It was our honor to know her.

Jeanne and my mother, Ellen Kimmer, were good friends when I was a young boy. My mother brought me over to Jeanne's house often. They would quilt together and socialize. My mother was a nurse at St. Mary's, so they had a lot in common.

I have many very good memories of her. These are some of them:
Unwavering kindness the time I accidentally broke the needle of her record player; she didn't get angry with me.
Original formula Coca-Colas (before they came out with New Coke, and then went back to Coke Classic, which Jeanne swore did not taste like the original) served over crushed ice from a hand crank ice crusher paired with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich which I've still never quite matched to this day (think the trick was mayonnaise, I still enjoy this combo as an adult).
I thought of her as another grandmother, she made that kind of impression.

I'm very saddened to hear the news of Jeanne's passing. Death is an unpleasant surprise, even when it's expected. I'm sorry for your loss.
