Joan Marie Potter, age 89 passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Joan was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 2, 1935 to Clarence and Mable Aldridge, who predeceased her. At the age of 19 she moved to Florida where she met and married her loving husband, Teddy Odes Potter (deceased); They were married 52 years.

Joan was an extraordinary, kind and sensitive person. She was always there for everyone: family, friends who became her family and for people who would soon be a part of her life.

Joan had 4 siblings who predeceased her. She and Teddy had 6 children - Teddy (deceased), Dianna, Walter, Julie, Joanna and Mary Cory. She had 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will occur Friday, January 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation, and Event Center, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 4500 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. A graveside service for Joan will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 1:00 PM at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
