This man was by far one of the kindest most honorable men I've ever known. He was the kind of man that the young men of today should model their lives after. He was a black man who honored and respected black women, holding them in the highest regard. Mr. A loved his family and especially his loving and beautiful wife, whom adored him to no end. When I think about his character as a man, husband, business owner, and friend, one word comes to mind, "impeccable". I send loving prayers of comfort to the family members he's left behind. He will truly be missed.

Brother Atkins was an awesome servant of the Lord. I had the privilege of working with him in ministry and was always inspired by his humility. Even as owner of one of the most successful daycares in our community he always had the heart of a servant. My girls attended Atkins daycare and are excelling now in Middle and high school. His life has impacted mine generationally and I will be forever grateful for knowing him. My prayers go out to this family that we love dearly
