Jon Kent Simon, 65, of Wellington, Florida passed away on February 23, 2022.
Kent was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to William and Lorraine Simon.
He spent most of his childhood in Miami, Florida where he had the benefit of being outdoors in nature and catching snakes. As a true nature enthusiast, he enjoyed the Everglades and camping. He went to countless concerts due to his incredible love of music. Kent graduated in 1975 from Miami Killian High School.
Kent had two beautiful children, Ashlan and Anthony, with Patricia. They traveled extensively as a family and enjoyed seeing the world together. He loved being a Dad.
He was an avid sports fan and was most passionate about the Miami Dolphins. He was always smiling and laughing and had dozens of close friends.
"Think where man's glory most begins and ends, and say my glory was, I had such friends."
Kent is preceded in death by his father, William, his mother, Lorraine and his brother, Doug.
He is survived by his children, Ashlan Simon and Anthony Simon, their mother, Patricia Simon, his brother, William Simon, his sister, Karen Simon Scata, nephews, Andre Bofill and William Bofill and niece, Christina Bofill.
