Spending the 3 weeks during the summer months with my blue eyes baby boy was no longer a boy. He had became a young man and didn't lose his beautiful smile, he was very humble and also a good listener. Before he leave for school we would make sure we prayed together and I'll cherish those morning and memories forever.

It was 4th of July and I wanted you to come chill with me and some friends... see a different environment and a different crowd that you weren’t use to hanging out with. We were getting dressed and while I was doing my make up in the bathroom you came and sat on the toilet just talking to me and we had a really good conversation and I remember telling you... I wish you could see what I see in you, you kinda just brushed it off and I was like no seriously Jon and I told you I loved you and you said I love you too. we went to kava and had a good time... almost got blown up went the fire work fell over I remember you taking of and you were like TAYAH  RUUUUUUNNNNN!!!!!...we had a good time that night

Jon Jon was always self- conscious to abide by his traditional values in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. A very impressive nephew from inside and out, he would compromise to assure peace and harmony in his surrounding, while guarding his integrity and self-love. Continuously, my nephew would set healthy goals and boundaries for himself. Our dearest Jon Jon,
I have precious memories of the last time Danielle and the kids (Jon Jon, Dezzy & Tayah) came to Jersey. Tayah was a little under the weather and we took turns nursing her back to wellness. In the evenings Jon Jon & Dezzy enjoyed running through the house playing tag. You can hear their little feet tapping or more like slapping on the wood and laughing as they played. Danielle thought it was too much noise. I told her it was fine with me, because it was music to my ears. It was wonderful having extra little ones around. The days were going by too quick, but the time spent and memories made are forever. I'm sorry we lost a beautiful soul too soon and we'll miss the man you would have become. I met Jonathan when my son, Zion, transferred to Bright Futures school.  They were in the 2nd grade.  From that day to today, I was impressed with Jonathan's loyalty, compassion, and humor.  He spent many days either at my home or on the road during weekends and school breaks.  There are so many stories of Jon I could share.  But there isn't enough room to do so. I reminded Zion of some of them.  Through his tears, he smiled and said he will never forget Jon.  Whenever I think of Jon I smile too.
Thank you Danielle for raising a wonderful young man and for sharing him with me and Zion.

From his early years, he had a very warm and sincere approach with his greetings.  There were something magical about him especially his EYES and bright "SMILE".  His soft voice yet very charming were his gifts from God. He had the utmost respect for family and friends. He was always happy to see me when I visited Florida and so did I. Jon Jon and his sister Dee spoiled me greatly with Florida Mango.  They were both very instrumental as we spent quality time in Florida. I missed my "Jon Jon". He cared and loved his family. He was very bright, intelligent and a good listener. He loved arts and entertainment.

I told him to follow your Mother's direction and if anytime you need anything you can come to your Uncle and we will discuss it. I can still hear him and Danielle's voice thanking me. I remember seeing so many pictures & hearing so many stories from Malika of how smart , charismatic & the joy you were. When I finally seen you last year at  Taya’s 18th birthday I couldn’t  believe the little boy from pictures had grown into such a young man. So handsome, so caring & truly a light of your family.  With eyes to match lol. The epitome of  Black Boy Joy... Just like what I’ve always heard.  You have made your family  so proud. I hate your time was up here so soon. Such a bright young man . You will be missed but may your light be an example to everyone’s lives you touched. 

Jon Jon always had that big smile on his face that made your soul light up. He was filled with so much energy  and he always had a story to tell about any & everything. Jon had a special bond with his baby brother Carter it was so delightful to see how protective he was with him. Jon Jon's memories will live on through everyone who knew him.

I remember Jon as a sweet & sensitive young man when he was a student at Bright Futures. I remember one day in particular when he was having a tough time until another student reminded him of something about his family, and a great smile spread across his face. I didn’t know Jon well, but the love he had for his family and that his family had for him was apparent.

Sweet Jon Jon,  this I found very difficult to write, because you were like one of my kids. You spent most of your earlier days in my home, playing with your cousins, over night stay, pick up from school, playing in the pool and so many other actives. Also with Dezzy. Always smiling(like your mother), polite, respectful  and shy.  Those beautiful eyes. No mother should bury her child this hurts so bad😢😢. I will never know where to begin. From the moment you were born until my recent memories and encounters with you, you were alaways a respectable boy, turned young man.

For the record: I fought your mom many times to have her bow down and allow you (and Dezy) to eat Cheetos or Doritos in the house, car, or front white room hehehe. I lost that battle each time!! But any solid minute I was with y'all as children,  I let y'all do it! 

While I will never question Gods plan or purpose for any event, one thing for sure is that we are all passing through in a vessel on borrowed time.

I love you Jon, and while you will physically be missed on Earth, the memories will brighten a room and I hope put a smile on the face of your parents, siblings, family and friends who love you.

My Jon Jon ! My journey with Jon started at the time of his conception until god called him home. The real beginnings were the time the labor pain started there my labor pains started with her . Once Jon was delivered my pains ended, now the real journey started the dr’s visits the dropping off to daycare and the babysitting times for grandma until one day I couldn’t find him until I looked in the bathroom there he was standing inside the toilet bowl with toilet paper all over, I was rushing to clean him ad forgot to take a picture😘. It was always something . As he got older it became easier. As a teenager it changed he was doing the normal things for teens . 
At time he would ask me to make him a cup of tea , boil him eggs , or say grandma your grandson needs a haircut, if he was up to it he would help if he se me doing something I was struggling with , Jon was Jon one would have to know him to really know him . He love family in his own  ways. Jon I love you will always love even more . I’m missing . Carter miss fishing with or just get the shoulder ride with you.

Jon Jon my sweet boy! What I remember and will always remember is you and Darán playing together as kids. And going to the beach was the thing to do. I didn't know you all too well, but I remember meeting you twice. Back in 2012 during the family reunion and again in 2014.  I don't have to many relatives around my age so it was nice to meet someone who shared similar shows, games, and interests. I remember you asked me to race you several times, both visits, although I always won. Nonetheless, I could tell from my visits you were good and caring person, and I was glad to get to know you.

Eden is much older now, and appreciates that you held her and played with her while she was a baby during our visits.

The first time we started talking I felt like I had already known you , our connection and bond grew so fast in a small amount of time. You knew I didn’t like meeting new people or putting my problems on other peoples shoulders but you opened up to me, & told me stuff I’ll forever keep between us . The type of energy you gave off was different, you were comfortable with me, & u were one of little people I got comfortable with too. You always text me & Ft me to let me know you had me through whatever I go through. As much as I hesitated I always ended up pouring all my problems on you and I never felt like you pushed me away. You took every detail and turned it into something positive, you would never let me hang up without knowing I’m not good or not smiling. You making me laugh, and smile the whole time was just something that came so naturally. We had our daily talks at the end of the day, & you would release about everything from good to bad. And I couldn’t do nothing but smile because you released everything off your chest,   knowing that I know how u are & always knew how to deal with u in situations. You  trusted me with a lot. We shared the same energy. I thank god he gave me the opportunity to meet you, share my love & heart with. I thank you for showing me light on some of my darkest days, fixing a broken heart,& refilling it with love without even asking. We have been through 3 years , and you have made a big impact on me. Words can’t even explain or show what we have been through, you have entered heaven with all of our memories, feelings, talks, and only you know what it and what it was. My fondest memory of you was when you were a little boy, maybe 3 or4 years old. You and your mom visiting Brooklyn NY to spend time at Papa and Nana's house. We all went out. It was a hot summer day and my car had no air conditioning. You were getting tired and cranky and just wanted someone to pick you up. I remember the entire time I picked you up and we walked. I'd try to put you down but nope, you were getting cranky and I didnt want you to cry and didnt realize how heavy you were!

But those eyes, the beautiful golden bronze skin and curly locks with just the right amount of sunkissed highlights made me cave in and let you have your way. Somehow, I think you knew that. Everywhere we walked people complimented on how beautiful your eyes were, and how cute you were. Eventually, you caved in too and fell asleep.

The last conversation you and I had was about 1.5 months ago when my mom was visiting with Irshad and baby Marlow. You were in the car with your grandma. We talked about school and although I could hear uncertainty in your voice about life and the future, I remember encouraging you. Encouraging you to believe in yourself and in your gifts and to do what you love.

I trust that you indeed are resting in peace and fully immersed and embraced in God the source of all the beautiful light you came into this world with. You did what you loved. You touched the hearts of those around you and loved fiercely, honestly and unconditionally. Reading so many beautiful words about you shows that your legacy is here, you completed your beautiful mission  and your life was purposeful.  Love you always!

I wake up every morning wishing you were still here with us. I know it's not for me to question God's plan but I cant help but to do so. We were all so blessed with having you in our lives and I'm forever grateful for our time together. I just wanted more. We had so many memories together it's hard to write about just one. You were like another son to me. You and Tristan were two peas in a pod. Tristan never wanted to do anything or go anywhere with having you with us. You two have an amazing bond even on the days you guys couldnt stand to be around each other. There was always love there between you both. Then came Jaliesa and Jack and they're were also so blessed to experience that same strong bond with you as well. Something they will be able to carry with them always. It was just a pleasure watching you take care of them. You were such a great big cousin/brother to all the kids. They knew if Jon Jon was around they would have someone to play with and crack jokes and just gave a good time. It was just in your spirit to bring a smile and happiness to those around you. I'm going to miss that most of all. Our last car ride together you were really upset we talked about things and by the time I dropped you off your whole demeanor changed and you had the biggest smile on your face and told me you loved me. That will be a moment I will cherish forever. I know that you will forever cover us and knowing that you are at peace gives me peace.

I remember years ago, perhaps back in ‘06, when JonJon & Dezzy we’re visiting my home. We were playing, I think, a merri-go-round game. One at a time, I’d hold their hands and we’d spin around. After doing that a few times, I guess we got tired of getting dizzy and so we stopped. Afterwards, we began playing another game. I’m not sure which one of them thought of this, but boy oh boy was this a workout! Keep in mind, that although they were smaller than me at the time, it doesn’t negate the fact that they were each 70 pounds plus lol. So one at a time, they’d stand before me and I’d hold their hands. Then they’d begin to walk up my legs and stomach like a wall until they were high enough to flip over and land their feet on the floor. I thought I could get away with doing this only a couple of times, but no, not at all haha.
“My turn!” Dezzy goes.
“Now it’s MY turn!” JonJon goes.
And so for the next fifteen minutes, they were beautiful little acrobats. 

Having JonJon in my life and having him apart of special events and just being around him was such an enjoyment and privilege. We would always go outside and play football and just laugh and have a great time. I remember we were all outside one day playing around and he said “record me so I can look at my highlight” we were playing football, after I showed him the video he said “u better not post it. I’ve always been to famous for the camera” he was such a special person and had such a great personality like no other. I love and miss him so much. Fly high baby boy💛

Jonathan was a young man full of life.  He was loving, caring and respectful. Always welcomed  me with a beautiful smile, a hug and a kiss. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. May he rest in peace 🙏

Growing up with you was one of the highlights in my life.  The day you where born you brought light and love in my life.  The day you where born my life changed.You are my baby cousin and my brother. Watching  you grow gave me joy.  Your so goofy,   And sweet it was allways hard for me to stay mad at you. I can hear you telling me now “ I’m sorry Keda”.My goal for myself was to work hard so you and ur sis n Tay can believe in yourselves in any and everything you can do and to support u 100%. We shared our pains or fears and our love for one another. Helping raise you at only 7 years old taught me so much about life, patience and the internal needs of others in making sure you felt safe even when I was scared . Me and Eka spent endless nights and summers in the house with you, trying to cook for u and get u ready for school, and pushing you past ur fears. I remember teaching you how to swim and math and reading to you, we allways wanted y’all to be good. Ur smile stays on repeat in my mind, ur laugh visits me in my quiet moments. I’m honored with the last words you left me “ I love you cuz”. Before I left for the “O” you promised me you would be okay, those words give me the strength that you are doing just fine now. It’s funny b cuz before I left we just laughed and reminisced on stories you would never want you friends to hear. You even told me “ lol keep this between me n u”. Lol you where so humbled and didn’t need much, so sweet, just to be herd was enough for you. I will miss u endlessly!! U r a protector and I know Emily is in great hands, Nana n Papa n ur grandpa Tony are taking care of you!!  I will never stop saying your name. It’s hard  to not see u coming around the corner with that ball in ur hand, asking me to bring you to the store.But nothing lasts forever, and as ur mom says to us all never say goodbye... I remember getting a Christmas photo of you and Dezzy every year from your mom. I would marvel at how much you look like your grandpa Tony and would try to find that photo of him to compare it with. Over the years, those photos would become digital and I couldn’t believe how much you and Dezzy had grown when I received this year’s. I was almost afraid to ask how old you guys were and when I did, I was shocked that you were now a young man.
Rest In Peace Jonathan. You were an angel on earth. We now know this because angels are beautiful, they bring joy to whomever they meet and they are only here for a short period of time. Jon Jon has the best and funniest personality, anytime my family would came over to his house for barbecues or special occasions it was always just a good time and good vibes. He was so playful and sweet. He was always so protective too whenever my sisters and I would be around. I’m so grateful that I got to have the time I did with Jon Jon over the years of us all growing up. I hate that it has to end so soon😞 my condolences to the fam. I love you all so much. Keep your heads up♥️

When my family moved to Lake Park a few years ago, Jonathan was my nephew’s  first friend. They were in and out of our house all the time, and Jonathan was such a pleasure to interact with. He carried himself with dignity and respect, was always polite, kind, and treated our home as he would his own. His spirit was such a bright light, seen through his beautiful eyes. I pray his family still feels the bright light of his spirit as a it shines down upon them from heaven. 

Dear Jon Jon with so many memories its hard to pick just one but I can recall the first time I knew you had the potential to impact so many lives in a great way and from what I can see I was correct. I remember shooting a commercial and needed a star and the first person who came to mind was you. I remember seeing the love between you and your loving mother in person and being able to capture that moment on film and share it with so many people was an amazing feeling. You were a star in making and I knew you had the potential to make great things happen. I wish I had the chance to watch you grow into the amazing man you were meant to be but im greatful for the time we did share and will never forget you. With love your 1st fan Ryan 

I remember the first time we met we were both in iss lol and you defended when the teacher said something about my jacket not being fully on and I just looked at u. We became bestfriends u were the first boy best friend I’ve ever had I liked being around u Jon 🥺 I got to figure u out ,I got to meet carter  dezzy and ma, I know we fell off but it didn’t matter because whenever we saw each other it was all love. I remember one night u didn’t feel good I just looked at you and laughed because all u had to do was take some medicine so I made u some and told u to go to sleep and In the morning u said you felt “so much better “ and it just made me feel better to know I could make u feel better I’m sorry this happened to you now I know the true meaning of the saying “u never know what u got until it’s gone” but your not gone you live through your family keep watching over us Jonny I love you ❤️

My sweet Jon Jon,  words truly can’t explain the love I have for you. When your mom had you all of our lives changed for the better. You were like my first child. I joke with people all the time that I had a baby at 10years old bc you were always with me and Ked. You were the first to teach me how to stay calm in the mist of chaos. I had to make sure you wouldn’t ever see me scared in situations so you would always feel safe, even though  I was just a kid myself.  I know you’re happier where you are now. I’m just so grateful that I was blessed to experience you’re beautiful soul from a newborn to blossoming into the amazing gentleman you’re mom raised you to be. Always going above and beyond to make sure those around you were always happy. The best big brother ever. You always have Dezzy’s back and Carter adores everything about you. You were all the kids big brother. You always said you want to be the best role model for Carter he definitely got your goofy and loving spirit. You’re legacy will live on forever and ever Jon because you’re love lives in us all.

I Remember The Day We First Met ‘ The Day We Found Out We Were Brother & Sister. I Remember You Asking 2 Weeks Before Everything Happen “Can I See My Neice & Nephew”. We Always Texted Or Got On The Phone. I’m sorry baby 😔 I just wish you were still here with us honestly. We still had more memories too make ‘ you still have too meet your niece & nephew, Da’Mari, Milani & I ’  Love You So Very Much. FlyHigh My Angel. 

I remember hopping on 2k with you all the time after school and we’d always do 1-on1’s and you’d show me your ugly behind shoes you made when we were done. Those were really fun times man.. I wish I would’ve visit sooner. I can’t wait to see you again Jonathan. 

Jon Jon It saddens me to speak on the memories of your life, for several reasons; mainly because you barely had the opportunity to taste life and experience all that you could become. A future that was silenced suddenly, unjustly and without merit, but also because like all of us still in disbelief that you are no longer here with us to share your light. I remember when you were born, your Mom called me before the sun rose  (as she always did) the next morning to tell me you entered the world. I remember rushing to the hospital to lay eyes on you and hold you for the first time. From that day on you changed so many lives forever, moreover when your Mom asked me to be your GodMother you changed mine.You were a handsome boy, your dazzling smiling and captivating eyes, that I would learn to hear were your secret weapon for the ladies, were mesmerizing. Time went on and you started to look more like a young man - shoulders broad,  height extended, voice deepening - yet still you carried the innocence of child. I will always admire how patient you were with children younger than you. Always willing to run around and play and keep them entertained. You had a way about you that was  genuine and charismatic and that to me, was your charm. Hearing the way others speak of you,  warms my heart because you touched so many in different ways. Whether if you were being encouraging to someone who needed positivity, mischievous like older brothers are, or curious as anyone should be entering adulthood – you had many sides to your complex personality.  Plastered with a grin, to me, you always tried to not to smile, only to smirk and then full face smile – You Lit Up Every Room You Entered. I can still hear your voice, “Hi Godmom" when you came to visit us in Virginia and when you made it to the twins' babyshower – of which I heard you were shocked at how big I was!! *SideEye Jon Jon* lol I miss you so much and know that Your wings will cover us. I never thought I’d be writing memories of you so early... I remember us being kids and you asking so many questions about everything. You wanted to know why things work the way they do and right now I’m feeling the same way, wanting to know why the world took you so soon. Jon, you still have one of the nicest smiles in my mind, your goofy laugh still makes me laugh and I so badly wish I could spend one more day around your energy. I remember as kids you would always protect the people you love. I know you’re protecting them still and it keeps me going knowing one day I’ll be able to hug you again. I love you so much Jonathan. Attached is a photo of my 12th birthday and you were such a sweet , loving kid from the start. I remember you said you didn’t get me a gift and you were sorry but that you still loved me so you followed me around the whole night and we played man hunt in the backyard with all the cousins and it was my favorite day. Jon my first God child , it pains me too be writing this but ...I know you are with the Lord, and I can rejoice in that.When u were little you would often try godmommy lol but I could not resist your little face and you would normally win the cheeto/toy battle.I watch you grow into a kind, shy ,smart young man who loved his family. When you were born , for some reason I thought your full name was gonna be ‘Jonathan Ethan Anthony Richard O’Sullivan White’ . I realized soon after that it was just ‘Anthony’ and it would’ve been too long of a name for a birth certificate 😂 you grew up in the blink of an eye and before I knew it, you and almost everyone else grew past me in height .  The only person I had a problem with in 2k, it was always nothing but love and fun .  On the court, you definitely learned how to use your height and got very defensive-minded which was always a good challenge. I know you’re watching over us and you will always be here with us. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jon Jon  for about 6 years. Jon Jon really took my breath away the moment I saw those beautiful eyes. He was very shy and quiet but he grew up to be a very respectable young. We may have lost him on this earth but heaven gained an angel... S.I.P baby boy. You’re gone but not forgotten 😘😘😘😘🙏🏽🙏🏽

There are so many things that I can say about my nephew Jonathan. He was a sweetheart from the very beginning. I remember when I came down to visit over the summer Jon gave me his room to sleep in. I could tell how hard he worked to get it ready for me. He just wanted me too be comfortable. And he always came to check on me. He had given up his personal space and didn't once complain about it. That's just the way he was a true gentleman. I will always remember his sweet smile and the goofy face he made when you told him something crazy. My nephew was also funny and he liked when I told him stories about us growing up. And I know it's because it made him feel closer to us. When he would get around his brother's and cousins you had to make sure you kept your eyes on them because you never knew what they were going to get into. I'm going to miss him so much and I'm am just so grateful that I got to be his aunt! I love you Jonathan and I know you got your wings because you were an angel here on earth!

I watch you grow up from afar but when I saw you through the years you were always a good young man to be around.  I remember your mom told me how you always wanted to wear suits when you were younger even in super hot weather .. too funny.  I reminisce on all my trips down there we would always make an effort to see you and your sister Dezzy  every time.  I remember fishing off the bridge, throwing the football, our talks, you doing a black flip in my wedding, you being in the wedding, you coming to Virginia a couple of times. The water park was cool not sure if you liked the state capital but you and your mom and sister took cool pictures. As you got older I saw your love for little kids and genuine loved for your family. As you got taller you really I saw your skills improve in basketball but you really thought you could beat me in basketball.  Me and your uncle Jackie would crush you and Tristan. I’m trying to think if you ever won in “21”... .. Those were good times!  I am going to miss you ... we still thinking of you .. will never forget you .. Rest easy and peacefully Jon Jon until we see each other again.

JonJon- I will never forgot how every time you saw me you would hug me and say “ hi mrs Sussy!” With the biggest grin! I would always tell you I would dunk on you soon! You were a big brother to my kids. I watched you grow up into a handsome young man. I think of you everyday. We love you and miss you dearly! My daughter secretly had a crush on you, and would always run into the bathroom and fix her hair before coming outside. I would just smile to myself. You would even come down and play basketball with my son when he didn't have anyone to play with.... your smile was contagious and your heart was big. I will always remember you!!!
