

He graduated from Wayne Valley High School. Joseph attended Memphis State University on a full athletic football scholarship. He graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in physical education. He married Arlene Russo on October 17th, 1976 in Livingston, NJ.
Determined for success, Joe founded SchoolCraft Studios in 1971, and devoted much of his life to building his school portrait business. Although Joe knew the value in good service and a quality product, nothing was more important to him than the relationships he formed with clients. This foundation led to many decades-long friendships, which Joe treasured. A generous and thoughtful man, Joe took pride in giving back to the communities he was involved in, often sponsoring charitable events and donating to underprivileged youths.
Joseph is preceded in death by his mother Gina, his father George, and his sister Gina.
Joseph George Crescione is survived by his wife Arlene, his son George and his wife ToniAnn, his daughter Cristine, sister Nellie Caldarone & husband Georgio, sister Nancy D’Acunto & husband Germano, Grandsons Nino Crescione and Landon Mercer, Granddaughters Alexa Mercer, Brianna Mercer, and Mia Crescione.
A mass will be held on April 29th, 2025 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta, New Jersey. A celebration will be held at Perona Farms in Sparta, New Jersey immediately following the mass.
