My sincerest condolences to the  a Byfield family. Bro. Byfield was a dear friend. We shared  many jovial times together and made many trips to Canal Point to get mangoes  mostly for his friends, many of whom lived in NY
 He was kind and compassionate and will be greatly missed

I met Elder Byfield at Ephesus SDA Church more than 20 years ago; he was the teacher of my sabbath school class.  Elder Byfield was  a knowledgeable teacher and he was always willing to provide extra books/literature on challenging topics.   
Elder Byfield quickly gained my trust as a good friend  ...someone I would describe as kind, compassionate and caring.  Elder Byfield was never too busy to lend a helping hand when asked; a friend I could trust with the keys to my home and my car. Thanks to Ms Norma, for being the strong woman behind such a wonderful Man of God. Thoughts and prayers are with  the family.

When I got the call that my brother had died, part of me died hearing such sad news.  This has created a void in my life because of the way we lived together.

My brother was never sad,  always upbeat with his humour. Although far apart but always in touch, talking of long gone years, who did what,  old and young. 

I know time will heal but for this moment, it is painful, the father has called you home.
Brother, I will miss you more than words can say, I believe you’re in the Lord’s hands.

We are just coming to terms with the passing of our beloved cousin. You were the glue to this Byfield family. You always said, you were the forgotten folks, but you were always in our hearts.  Until we meet again cousin. I know daddy(sunny Byfield) is looking a you. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs Norma and the children. May god give his family peace and comfort in the days ahead. Condolences to the Byfield family, I know it’s a sad time for you’ll but I pray that God will hug you with his righteous hands and comfort you in this difficult time. I worked with Mr. Byfield (Rev) as we affectionately called him at CIB Headquarters many years ago, he was blessed with a wonderful personality, whenever one sees him you were greeted with that infectious smile always. My wife and I extend condolences to Norma and family.  We are saddened by the passing of Bro Byfield. I refer to him as Reverend from the early days when we worked at the Criminal Investigation Department in Kingston Jamaica. I found him as a dedicated worker, well mannered, helpful, jovial and as a friend to other members of staff. He often shared his deep Christian beliefs. My heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of Keith Byfield, at this time of mourning, he was a husband, father and grandfather! I met him and his family more than forty years ago, during our assignment with the United Nations in the Middle East! He was my go to guy, I would always go to him for advice on spiritual and social issues, he was a man’s man . He will be missed but he will not be forgotten! May he rest in peace 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️

Bro Keith and I, served together in the Jamaica Constabulary Force in the 1960s  to early 1979s. He attended my wedding in 1975 where he gave an uplifting encouraging speech. We served together In Israel with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission where he was nicknamed REV, due to his strong Spiritual beliefs, principles and willingness to share the  message of Salvation with others. Memories of Bro Keith Byfield will always be with me. May his REST IN PEACE.

I lost my son sometime after he had lost his daughter. I will never forget how at the cemetery he came behind me, wrapped his arm around me and said "Gladdie, when you feel like talking give me a call."  then just kept walking.  I said to myself  "none but they who feels it knows".

My sincere condolences to the family of a good man. He was my friend. We would go hunting mangos together in the summer and shared many a deep spiritual discussions. His stories about his time in the Holy land left an impression on my heart. There was no one that Elder Byfield didnt know! He had friends everywhere. May he rest in peace until the savior calls him again.

I  am saddened to hear of Mr. Byfield passing. He was truly one of the kindest, most genuine person I’ve ever met — a devoted husband, a loving father, and an incredible neighbor. His gentle spirit and selfless heart touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. I am keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

Heartfelt sympathies to the wife and  family of Mr. Keith Byfield. I can remember his jokes, his laughter,  his energy, and his friendship. As he would say when departing, "See you next time, friend". I say to him posthumously today,  "Until we meet again, friend".
