Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, Larry relocated to Lake Worth, Florida, where he made a life filled with family, friendships, music, and the many things he loved. He developed a strong passion for his beloved Miami Hurricanes and Miami Dolphins.
Larry proudly dedicated 32 years of his life to the Del-Trail Fire & Rescue Department, serving the communities of Delray Beach and Boca Raton and keeping countless people safe. His commitment to his work and bravery was a meaningful part of his life.
Outside of work, Larry was an avid fisherman who spent many years out on his boat. He was a professional drummer, often performing at family weddings, gatherings, and shows. Larry loved watching James Bond movies, had a great passion for his sport teams, and most famously, hated cheese!
Larry's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his devoted children, Karen (Kerry) Morrick and Bradley (Kayla) Ruda. He will be terribly missed by his beloved grandchildren, Zachary and Aaron, with whom he shared a close bond.
A devoted animal lover, Larry also leaves behind his pitbull Chief and his cat Phoebe.
Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
