In Loving Memory of Mrs. Sweeting
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Mrs. Sweeting, a truly remarkable woman whose kindness, strength, and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She carried herself with grace, loved deeply, and gave freely whether through her words, her warmth, or her unwavering support for those around her.
Mrs. Sweeting had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her presence brought comfort, and her wisdom brought peace. The impact she made in her family, her community, and in the lives of those who loved her will never be forgotten.
Though her passing leaves a deep ache, may we find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind, and in the legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find strength, healing, and comfort as they navigate the days ahead.

My favorite substitute teacher.  My condolences to the family. 🫶🏾💝

Ms. Sweeting was the best day/after care teacher for me and my sisters. We grew up with this wonderful lady from babies, I remember Easter egg hunting in her backyard, and her Christmas display in her front yard was amazing every year. My family will truly miss your kindness. I wish I had a picture to share of her or keep for myself. With all love Brittany

Mrs sweeting was a very nice lady she used to exercise she used to walk from her home on silver beach road to third of old Dixie highway and back home I told Mrs sweeting I would have fell out that’s to far I will miss her very much her and my mom can talk again rest on and one day we will see each other again

My auntie always called me Beautiful. I love you Auntie Lucille.

I can’t believe she’s gone, she taught me so much when i was one of her young students …. i used to still visit her from time to time as a teenager to adult  , i still remember when she made me toast with sugar and butter on it . I’m gonna miss her forever 💜

We, at American Legion Post 268, will greatly miss Lucille. . she was always so great at organizing the Back to School  give away that we had for years.  She loved our Veterans and served them for  many,any years at the V.A.  She always had a smile when she greeted anyone.  Another angel has met the Lord.  Halleluyah !!!!
