

On January 15, 2025, while surrounded by her loved ones, The Lord received Madeline Mary Sandman. Madeline was born to Vital and Rose (Fritz) Messier in 1938 where she was raised and graduated from Lake Worth High School. Madeline was a third generation South Floridian who had a lifelong love for horses, dogs, and cats.
She is survived by her husband and lifelong partner William Sandman Jr. and their four children and their spouses, William, (Jennifer), Charles, (Nancy), Kathryn, (Kevin) and Carolyn, (Todd).
Madeline leaves behind her five cherished grandchildren, Ashlee, Justin, Trevor, Summer and Emily as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Madeline and Bill married in New England where they relocated and raised their four children. They eventually returned to Lake Worth, where she was a long-time member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church and an active member in the Catholic Women’s Guild. She also volunteered at Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center. Upon Bill’s retirement they moved to North Florida to live out their retirement years. Bill and Madeline eventually returned to South Florida relocating to Loxahatchee where she lived out her remaining years.
A visitation for Madeline will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. Following the visitation a funeral service for Madeline will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. The culmination of the services is followed by a graveside service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. All services will be held at at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation, and Event Center, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
