

Manuel Stepanian, (born Emanuel Stepanian, Jr.), passed away peacefully on November 17, 2014 at the Hospice of Palm Beach County, JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, Florida. The staff at the hospice was caring and compassionate and deserve much praise. Manny was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 4, 1930 to Emanuel and Margaret Stepanian. His childhood was spent in Philadelphia where he attended Northeast High School and took classes at Drexel University. He had homes in Pennsylvania and he had homes in Haddonfield, New Jersey, New York City, New York, Opio, France and West Palm Beach, Florida. Manny was a master tool and die maker and proudly founded his own business at age 38. The company, Stepanian Tool and Manufacturing, was located in Pensauken, New Jersey. He employed only the best toolmakers and treated them fairly. He retired at the age of 68, after 29 years of "meticulous service to the industry"; that was his motto. STM was recognized by Kulicke and Soffa or Horsham, Pennsylvania for 20 years of outstanding service. Everyone knew Manny as a man of integrity. He was humble, kind, generous, dignified and loving. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joan Lind Stepanian, his brother Richard Stepanian, his wife Sarah, their children Richard, Jr. and Mary-Margaret and two great nieces. Services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3333 Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach, Florida 33406.
