To my beautiful granddaughter Ava Noelle. I passed away before you were born but that doesn’t mean that I am not with you. I love you very much, grandma Mechy.

Maria M. Arteaga, age 71 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at Hospice of Palm Beach County with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Arteaga was born in Havanna, Cuba on August 16, 1939 to the late, Mr. Armando Hernandez and the late, Mrs. Fracisca (nee Garcia) Hernandez. She loved keeping her home beautiful and entertaining with her family and friends. Maria will deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving husband of forty two years, Raul Arteaga, her two loved children; Otniel Arteaga and Areli Arteaga, her two adored grandchildren; Armando and Analy, her loved brother, Roberto Hernandez and a loved niece and nephew; Janet Kelly and Roberto Henandez.

Friends may come to Mizell-Faville-Zern Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 (561) 833-4061 and pay tribute and respects to the family of Maria M. Arteaga on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 4PM - 10PM. I was so saddened to hear about your mother. I never knew her but I know that you loved her immensely. I am sorry for your loss. She raised you to be an amazing person. My condolences go out to you and your family. I'm sure she will be greatly missed by everyone she has touched in her life. I am sad to say that I never had the honor of meeting the woman that made you the man you are today. celebrate her life and memories. take care and find comfort in one another at this tough time.

Durante todos los años que tenemos de amistad algo siempre ha estado bien claro y esto es el amor y dedicación que todos se tienen como núcleo familiar.
