

Mrs. Graham age 86 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at a local hospital. Marion was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Mr. Gerhard E. Maale and the late Mrs. Antoinette Delores (nee Zammit) Maale on December 25, 1924. Marion’s father was a Ship Captain for the United Fruit Company, where she resided in the British Honduras with her family and later moved back to West Palm Beach and graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1943. Marion later moved to the Panama Canal zone, during the war effort and worked in the Civilian Sector of the US Navy as a Clerk and Stenographer, where she met her husband, Clancy through her brother in 1945. They married in 1947 in New Orleans, LA and lived and raised a family in the South West US until 1963, when they moved to the Miami area in 1963. Marion was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She was very active with the Salvation Army volunteering her time and talents. Marion was also an avid Tennis Player and loved to play Bridge. In November of 2010, she lost the love of her life, her husband Clancy of 64 years. Marion will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and a gracious host, who loved to cook and entertain.
Survivors include her three children, Terry A. (Cathy) Graham of North Palm Beach, FL, Toni C. (Donald W.) Durandetta of Newark, DE and Donald P. (Nancy J.) Graham of Orlando, FL; her seven grandchildren, Brad Durandetta, Ryan Graham, Jonathan Durandetta, John Graham, Thomas Graham, Tracy Graham and Sam Graham.
A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2011at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Donations can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County or the Salvation Army in Loving memory of Marion J. Graham.
