Mary Margaret Chesser

Mary Margaret Chesser of West Palm Beach went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2013. Mary Margaret was born January 4, 1948 in Lewes, Delaware. She graduated valedictorian of Milton High School, Class of 1965. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Delaware, and her Master’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University. Mary Margaret retired as the Director of Certification from the School District of Palm Beach County in 2008. Mary Margaret is survived by her mother and caretaker, Geneva P. Chesser, sister and brother-in-law Brenda and James Clarke, nephews Guy (Melissa) and Gregory, great-nephews Wyatt, Kaelan and James Clarke, several cousins, and longtime friends. She was predeceased by her father, Guy R. Chesser. Mary Margaret had a great love of cats, and cherished her many worldwide travels. She also enjoyed her years in the classrooms throughout Palm Beach County. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Mizell-Faville-Zern Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407, (561) 833-4061. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, FL.
