Born in Cuba on October 18, 1941 to Rufino Garcia Llanos and Maria Del Pino Garcia, Mercedes was a loving mother, wife, and caring individual to all who knew her. She enjoyed her family, friends, and was a devoted Catholic. She loved to crochet, cook, and enjoyed her sweets.
She married Sergio Trujillo in 1964 and was a wonderful loving mother dedicated to her three children.
She was preceded in death by her son, Sergio Luis Trujillo, and her husband, Sergio Carlos Trujillo. She is survived by her sister, Leyda; her children, Jesus and partner Jeanie, daughter Millie and husband Garrett; her beloved grandson, Bradley; sister-in-law, Ossana; brother-in-law, Armando; nieces and nephews, Darees, Andy, Betty, and Luis Alberto.
A viewing will take place from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Saturday April 17th at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida. A mass will follow at 11:00AM at St Julianas' Catholic Church located at 4500 S Dixie Highway. The burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
