Milton Bauer, a remarkable man of kindness, dedication, and achievement, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2023.
He was born in Rogers, Arkansas and raised in Newton Kansas. In 1951, he joined the U.S. Air Force. He flew 42 combat missions and received service medals for National Defense, United Nations, Korean Service, Air Medal and Distinguished Flying Cross.
Before retiring in 1992, Milton was Clerk of the Circuit Court for Palm Beach County. He was active in Serra Club, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent DePaul, Prison Ministry and local Catholic churches.
Beyond his professional life, Milton was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind cherished memories with his wife of 67 years Julie and their 6 children Karen, Susie (Arne), Teresa (Joe), Diane (Kevin), Greg, Ellen; his 3 sisters Edwena, Anna Mary, Nancy, his adored 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Milton will be remembered for his sharp wit, integrity and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
The Wake will be on Monday July 17th 6pm-8pm (Quattlebaum’s Funeral Home in NPB)
The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday July 18th 10am at St. Patrick’s Church in PBG.
