

Peter D. Moulis of Singer Island, Florida was born January 6, 1931 in Clifton, NJ. He passed away on October 21, 2021. After graduating from C.W. Post College with a degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1959, Peter served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
In May of 1959, he met “The Sunshine” of his life Helene Litsis and they were married six months later and were together 62 years. He was blessed to have three children; Dr. Harry Moulis of Ormond Beach, FL (wife Debra), Aphrodite Moulis of Jupiter, FL (husband David Sutterfield), and Stephanie Moulis of Juno Beach, FL. Peter is preceded by his parents Demetrius and Hariklia Mousmoulis, his sisters Anne Olay and Lola Vlachos, and his son Dr. Harry Moulis (deceased 11/17/2020).
Peter worked for Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, NY for 25 years. He worked as a Quality Control Manager for many Military and Space programs, and was especially proud to have worked as the Quality Control Manager for NASA’s Apollo Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) and the F-14/F-15 fighter jets.
His funeral will be held at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday October 27, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to either St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in WPB, FL or Wounded Warriors.
