Ralph David Armenti Jr. was born on October 19th, 1947, in Worcester, MA. He also lived in St. Paul MN, Bloomington MN, Edina MN, Rapid City SD, Waterloo IA, Tuscaloosa AL, Dix Hills NY, and later residing in Florida. His father was Ralph David Armenti Sr., and his mother is Josephine Armenti, and he loved them dearly. He is survived by his two beautiful daughters Christina Armenti, and Alexandra Armenti as well as his mother Josephine Armenti, and siblings: Richard Armenti, Janyce Smith, Candyce “Candy” Armenti, Joseph “Jay” Armenti Sr., David Armenti Sr. He loved his siblings deeply and would always tell stories of their best times together.
Although Ralph lived in many places, he lived his best life in Florida. His joy in life was his two daughters, and he worked hard to do everything in his power to always take care of them all while having Multiple Sclerosis. Anyone who knew Ralph knew he had a sense of humor that lit up a room. Ralph was a jokester, the king of comedy, and no matter the circumstances, he always found a way to make jokes and make people laugh. He loved to tell stories, some of which were so exaggerated, we’ll never know if they were true. If he resembled any actor in a movie, it would be John Candy in Uncle Buck, and that is how we will always remember him. Every Sunday you could always count on him watching football, and he loved cars and talking about them. One thing that was certain about Ralph was his appetite for food. His favorites included cheeseburgers, steak, lobster, Chinese food, Italian food, and always Toojay’s Deli. In fact, the day before he passed, his last voicemail to his daughter, Christina, was asking to order him a cheeseburger.
Some of his daughters’ fondest memories were simply lying on the sofa, watching movies, and laughing while eating a bowl of pasta with extra parmesan cheese. When we think of some of our happiest times together, it was always the simplest things that mattered the most.
Ralph made many heartfelt contributions to all the lives he touched. His lively personality was a direct reflection of his love for connecting with those around him, and his legacy carries on with his daughters who adored and loved him unconditionally.
