With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beautiful father, Ramon Alberto Pietri. He transitioned to heaven on July 11, 2020, at the age of 65, from his beautiful and peaceful home in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Dad was born to parents Lydia Serrano and William Pietri, on May 31, 1955, in Ponce, Puerto Rico and is survived by his wife, Eneida Pietri, a blessed marriage of 43 years and his 3 children: Luz, Miosotty and Maxwill. He was an extremely proud and dedicated grandfather to Liz Marie, Nicole, Diel, Neylena, Irving, Ariannys, Channing, and his precious granddog, Chloe, blessed with 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Melody. He was the 4th oldest of 14 strong and loving brothers and sisters: Willie, Marino, Virginia, Juany, Edwin, Ani, Norberto, Ramona, Luis, Ada, Freddie, Martin and Miguel. Dad loved his family and anyone associated with his family dearly and saw great value in each and every person. He loved his friends so much and friends loved him. He did not only use the words “I love you” often; he showed and acted on its true meaning.
Dad was an amazing human being. He was one in a million and the definition of a great man, so therefore, will be remembered for a lot of great things. Dad loved hard and blindly and would welcome anyone with love and open arms. Mom was his queen and he was her king. He worked hard all his life, but with passion. Most of his life he worked as a professional landscaper with impeccable work ethics alongside his brother Marino; both being each other’s right-hand man. Dad’s love for music was just as impressive as his singing voice. He looked forward to singing at every gathering and everyone loved to watch him do his thing. His sense of humor and funny personality was so unique and only he could make you laugh until you could not breathe and the best part is that most jokes were created by him right on the spot.
Making people feel loved and making people feel like they are enough was second nature to him, and that is a part of him that will forever live.
The memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 12 p.m. at St. Juliana Catholic Church. Dad’s resting place will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
