Born March 14, 1929 in Santa Clara, Cuba, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Reina dedicated her life to missionary work, sharing God's word and helping seniors in need. Volunteering for many years in the Foster Grandparent project through the Area Agency on Aging, she supplied guidance and warm hugs to children who called her abuela. Many of those children and their parents continued to visit her long after she left the program. Our mother leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, service, humor, and Cuban cooking that was parallel to none. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
Reina was predeceased by her husband Reinaldo Padron in 1979 and her life partner Miguel Carmona in 2010. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, her son Ray, his fiancé Rhonda, daughter Carmen & her husband Andreas; Grandchildren Iris & her husband Conner, JJ & his wife Jenna, along with her great grandchildren Jake, Juliet, Jonathan, and Brandon; former daughter in laws Omah Brown & Paula Padron and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held this Thursday, Feb. 2, from 2-3 pm. Interment to follow. Quattlebaum Funeral & Cremation at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave. WPB, FL, 33405.
