Robert Francis Higgins 1926-2017 “Bob” Higgins age 91 of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away Monday, December 25, 2017. Bob grew up in Chicago, Ill, and upon graduation from Taft High School joined the Armed Forces. He was a proud soldier and bravely served his country in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine and son Mike. He is survived by his loving sister Rita Fox, daughter Janet Powers (Brad), granddaughters Cristy Johnson (Russ), Cari Simanski (Scott), and three beautiful great grandsons Peyton, Benjamin, and Ethan. Bob was an incredible father, and brother and an adoring “Papa”. Bob loved cooking for his family, telling jokes and reminiscing about the past. He will be deeply missed. Services will be held Saturday, December 30th, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. 5601 Greenwood Ave, W.P.B.
