Robin Sweet

Robin Barkley Sweet 73 passed away suddenly on Monday, September 16, 2024. Robin grew up in Darien Connecticut one of four siblings, before achieving her undergraduate degree from Finch College in New York. She continued her Business and Arts aspiration and went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Columbia University.

Robin started her career as Assistant Project Director at Bergdorf Goodman’s Department Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. After that, she earned her acclaimed business reputation working for Vogue Magazine before launching her own publishing company, SWA International Inc. with her partner Jerald Wagner.

Robin’s friends knew her as a smart professional who facilitated and participated in many organizations and charities. She was a Croquet and Tennis enthusiast participating and spending time with many friends. She spoke often about the Ladies “9 Hole” Sandpiper League in Newport and the National Croquet Club in West Palm Beach. Robin was the current President of the Pen Woman’s Ladies Organization, Palm Beach Chapter and where she will be sorely missed.

Donations in Robin’s name may be made to ; The Adopt a Cat Foundation, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, The Humane Society dba Furry Friends Jupiter/Tequesta; Friends of Jupiter Beach and the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary all located in Palm Beach County area of Florida .
