Surujdeo Ramcharan

On April 4th, 1943 Surujdeo Ramcharan (Baba) was born in Avocat Village, Trinidad to the late Indardaye and Seenath Ramcharan Maharaj. He married Usher Harry on November 27th, 1983 and became son-in-law to the late Khemraj and Hansrajee Harry.

Baba was truly a great person. He was full of compassion with a wonderful sense of humor and his generosity was above and beyond. Loving and caring, Baba was always thinking of his wife and family first. He passionately tended to his gardens and was recognized by his community in Canton, Georgia for his prized rose collection, which earned him “Yard of the Month”.

On December 31st, 2015 Baba passed away peacefully whilst visiting family in Florida. Baba leaves behind his devoted wife of 32 years, Usher Harry Ramcharan. He was the brother of Anoopia, Roma, Sieumatie, Hardeo{deceased}, Basdeo, Gyandeo and Leela; brother-in-law of Bramadath, Harry, Umardath, Jai, Dayanand, Davanan, Girlie, Prematie {deceased}, Lowtie and Yolanda. Baba also leaves behind 11 nieces, 8 nephews, 8 great nieces and 10 great nephews, aunt Yolande, his uncle Kuar and several cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday January 7th, 2016 at 11am at the Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Baba will be greatly missed by many.
