He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael George and Violet (Spremo) Ranich.
Surviving are his beloved children, Michael Tod Ranich and Jacqueline J. Ranich Roussel (Andrew) and their children Collin and Ava, all of Palm Beach County, Florida. Also surviving are his sister, Donna Ranich Waide and her children Michelle Kambiss King, two daughters (Maddison and Hannah) and Scott Michael Kambiss and his children (Anthony and Erica) of Arlington, Texas and his brother, Ronald Ranich, of California.
Tod Ranich, as he was known in his employment and military careers, always conducted himself in a professional and honorable manner. He served in the United States Air Force from February 1, 1965 until January 31, 1971 achieving the rank of Sergeant, because of his “excellent military performance, achievements and personal conduct.”
This level of behavior followed Mr. Ranich throughout his work in the golf industry. From his beginnings as a PGA Golf Professional and General Manager in Mequon, Wisconsin to Head Teaching Professional in Highland Park, Illinois, to an Independent National Sales Representative, and finally to his last working position as Locker Room Manager in Palm Beach County. His kindness and willingness to share his expert knowledge will long be remembered.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations to the Wounded Warriors Project.
