Palm Coast – Timothy Daniel Hardie tragically passed away on January 20, 2021, in a motorcycle accident. Born on October 17, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, Tim relocated to Daytona Beach with his mother at an early age, and attended both Ormond Beach Junior High and Seabreeze High schools. Following high school, he spent many years as a Greyhound owner and trainer in South Florida, then turned his talents to carpentry, with his most recent employment at The Door Store.
Tim loved surfing, snowboarding, scuba diving, golfing, hunting and fishing, and Van Halen. He also was an avid bowler, and the recipient of many awards for perfectly-bowled games. At the time of his death, Tim was competing on the Men’s Classic League, the Men’s League and the Piranha Grille League at Ormond Lanes.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary D. Hardie, and his father, Ralph O. Hardie, Tim is survived by his son, Corey Hardie, of Palm Beach; his sister and brother-in-law, Misti and Gold Lee, of Calabasas, CA., and nephews Lucas and Seth; his aunt, Joyce Taylor, of Arkadelphia, AK; an extended family of cousins; his girlfriend, Kim Richey; and, his beloved dog, Piper.
Tim will be laid to rest in West Palm Beach, FL. Royal Palm Funeral Home & Royal Palm Memorial Gardens of West Palm Beach are in charge.
