Verna D. Rooney 80, of Greenacres, FL passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Verna was born January 10,1935 in Providence, R.I. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Rooney. The proud mother of 6 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Verna is survived by her children; Victoria and husband Robert, James, Valerie, Jay and wife Theresa, John and wife Diana, Verna and husband Matthew. Visitation will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center at Hillcrest, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at funeral home and burial following at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
