Vincent Ronald Goodman Jr. affectionately known as “Ronnie” by close friends and family, was born on August 21, 1969 to Vincent Sr. and Myrtice Goodman at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL. Vincent was the oldest of three children. He grew up in Riviera Beach where he attended Lincoln Elementary, John F. Kennedy Middle, and Suncoast High Schools. He played pee wee football during middle school, and played trumpet, baritone, trombone, and tuba in the marching band and received several awards at both JFK and Suncoast. He was beloved by many and was given the title as “Class Flirt” in the yearbook. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Hampton University (1991). While at Hampton University he was in the marching band and numerous organizations.
As a youth, he attended and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Groce and then under the direction of Bishop Granger where he was an usher and active choir member.
After graduation, Vincent worked with State Farm and Progressive Insurance agencies as well as commuted to Fort Lauderdale and Miami for other insurance opportunities. His ambitious nature eventually led him to move to Texas as an Independent Claims Adjuster through Ebrel’s Adjusting Agency where he resided in Little Elm, Texas.
Vincent was always a techie, often toggling with any type of electronics that he could get his hands on. He was also a cuisine connoisseur, and would often encourage someone to try the food right off his plate. Additionally, he enjoyed Science Fiction, DC and Marvel Comics and a wide variety of movies. Vincent consistently enjoyed learning about History.
God called his good and faithful servant home on Tuesday May 23, 2017.
