Richie,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was one of the most wonderful human being that I ever met. She brought out the best in everyone. Her kind and gentle demeanor made it so easy to get along with her. As a colleague, she was a great TEAM player and as a personal friend she was also so kind and caring. She will be missed by all of us who knew her.
You stay strong and know that you are in our prayers.

Wanda has been my Sister-Friend that I met over 30 years ago when I moved from NY. We met through a mutual friend that attended her Church. Our journey began when we needed each other as a babysitter, car-rider for our boys to school, camp, church and wherever the need. When our "boys" became "young men" we took the hours long journey to Morehouse College in ATL. Throughout the years we never missed a birthday celebration and never missed a year of exchanging Christmas gifts. Wanda was a GODLY woman with a kind and gentle sprit. She will be missed and will be forever in my Heart!

My sister in love will be truly missed & a voided in our family. Wanda was a caring & given selfless person. I will forever cherish our moments & memories. I love you Wanda as I always stated even after every phone calls. She was a great aunt to her two nieces Ebony & Derrika Kennerly and her only nephew Derrick Kennerly aka Lil Derrick/Lil Buddy as she would call him. Wanda took on the role after my mother in love “Ma’ Dear” & my father in love “ Poppy” to carry the torch of the family. She has earned her crown & worn her pearls.

My thoughts and prayers to her son Ritchie and the family of Wanda G. Kennerly Lee. Wanda was my very good friend, Sister in Christ.
Wanda and I attended the same high school and we were College roommates our Junior and Senior year at FAMU. We had the best of times our freshman year living in the Dorms and , meeting new friends on what was once known as the "Set".
Wanda was full of Love, joy and she had an infectious smile and laugh, Oh my didn't we laugh. Words cannot express how I will truly miss my friend. I will always remember our last conversation of planning to get together for a girls trip.
Although our time together has ended here on earth, you took the ultimate trip to be in the arms of the Lord.

I will truly miss My Sister-Cousin Wanda Kennerly Lee. I will miss our infrequent hours of talking and laughing. I will definitely miss the travel plan we made for after Wanda’s retirement. I will forever give Wanda credit for starting our cousin holiday text talks. I will forever smile when I recall that Wanda returned a Christmas gift I sent to her because there was a name inside the package that she didn’t know. Although the gift was addressed to her, she did not want to keep anything not intended for her. My Sister-Cousin was a Goodly Woman who is now an Angel in Heaven.

Blessings to Ritchie and the family of Wanda Lee. Ritchie, your mother exemplified the fruit of the spirit Galatians 5:22, love, joy, gentleness... Wanda was genuinely a kind, beautiful and sweet person. She was always poised, pleasant and graceful. I will truly miss my friend. Thanks for the memories. May God bless and keep you, Ritchie.

Wanda Lee was a very dear friend and sister in the Lord I met over 30 years ago at Trinity International Church where our bond of friendship begin. We were involved in the Evangelism Explosion Ministry where we would hit the streets spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our journey continued on to Redemptive Life Fellowship and our friendship continued. I’m going to miss Wanda’s warm conversations and her “smile” that would brighten up any room. Her love, hugs and pure joy was a TRUE Reflection of the Father’s heart.
Wanda will always have a special place in my heart. It’s a bittersweet moment for me. Her presence will be missed BUT to know that she “died in Christ is a GAIN” and her name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life where she will “forever” live.
Your Eternal Friend,
Robin McCray

My family and I met Wanda when we joined Redemptive Life Fellowship years ago. I remember her bright eyes and big smile as she engaged in conversation with you. She was a beautiful woman who loved the Lord. She raised her son to know Him. Recently, I came across the program for Richie’s 18th birthday. Wanda invited several of the church’s leaders, men and women of God, to speak inspiring words to her son. Her love for God and her son was always on the forefront. She was so positive and encouraging. I will miss her, but I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Rest in peace, my sister.

I moved to South Florida in the fall of 1987. I found a church home shortly after and became quick friends with Wanda. Our friendship was grafted together by our faith in God and love for our family.
One of my favorite memories was with me and mine, taking a road trip together with Wanda and Richie. We drove to Jacksonville Florida and there I was blessed to meet her parents. Stories and laughter abounded deepening our friendship and love for one another.
My family left Florida in the spring of 1998 but have kept in touch all through the years. Wanda visited us in California cementing some hilarious memories along with deep and rich conversations I will hold onto tightly, savoring each one.
Wanda entered a place in our hearts not many reside. We miss her presence here on earth yet look forward to sharing paradise for all of eternity.

Ms. Lee was my 6th grade Language Arts teacher at MSOA currently known as BAK. It saddened me to hear of her passing. She was such a sweet person and so nurturing.
Ms.Lee was very helpful and resourceful. She helped me find a middle school for my oldest son a few years back.
My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family. She will be truly missed.

Wanda Lee was an amazing woman of God. She was a genuine friend and sister. We shared many things together but mainly conversations and events centered around family and teaching. We were also members of what we lovingly called "The One Son Club".
Proverbs 20:6 says
"Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable?"
Wanda will always hold a special place in my heart and I will miss her greatly for she was that loyal friend.
