

William “Bill” Geraci II, age 70, of PGA National, Florida, passed away on December 7, 2025. Born to the late William and Eileen Geraci, Bill was one of five children. He is survived by his sisters Carol, Jill, and Barbara, and was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Holly.
Bill was a devoted father to his sons, Michael Geraci and Ross Geraci, who were the greatest joys of his life. He is also survived by his former spouse, Vanessa McDevitt, who remained his lifelong best friend. In his final days, Bill was lovingly cared for by his friend Andy and his sisters Carol and Jill , whose presence brought him great comfort.
Bill was known for his engaging and genuine spirit. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his sons, siblings, nieces, and nephew, all of whom adored him deeply.
A man of determination and vision, Bill enjoyed a remarkable 45-year career in software engineering and product development. He held leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Research and Development, Chief Product Architect, and Director of Software Engineering at prominent technology companies such as Fidelity Investments, Siemens, Dell, and ADP. Most recently, Bill achieved his dream of working at Microsoft’s headquarters in Seattle, Washington, where he helped develop widely used applications and earned more than ten patents. His intelligence, curiosity, and strong work ethic defined a career that was both impactful and inspiring.
Beyond his technical accomplishments, Bill was a gifted abstract artist. His work was vibrant, original, and full of heart, reflecting the creative soul that defined him. He loved music, travel, and the outdoors, and was known for his playful sense of style and his ability to bring smiles to those around him through his authenticity and warmth.
In recent years, Bill’s faith in Jesus grew deeper and more personal, bringing him peace and hope. He faced the challenges of cancer with remarkable strength, energy, and optimism, fighting bravely for many years. He often shared that the illness brought unexpected blessings—it clarified what mattered most and gave him precious time to deepen his bond with Michael and Ross, time he treasured above all else.
Bill leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, humor, and creativity. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, his unique and powerful presence, and his artistic and kindred spirit.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
