
She was born on November 6, 1919 in West Salem, IL to Edward and Mary (Gentz) Feldman.
She married Paul Bowen on August 29, 1945 in West Salem and he preceded her in death in March of 1982.
Frances was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, flowers, embroidery, crocheting and ceramics. She was in the height of her glory when surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was one of the oldest members of the Zion United Methodist Church of West Salem.
She is survived by daughter Elaine (and husband Glenn) Cowman of rural Olney, a daughter in law; Rosella Bowen of Michigan and five grandchildren: Ron (Melissa) Cowman of rural Effingham,
and their children: Madison, Mitchell and Mason, Jeff Cowman (fiance'e Melissa) and daughter Kali of rural Olney.,
Shawna Kay (and husband P.J.) Zeilstra of rural Olney, and their sons: Jaxson and Jaymeson, Dave Bowen of Michigan and his sons: Nick and Luke, and John Bowen (and friend Heather) of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, one son, Jim, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral Service for Frances Bowen will be held at 11AM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem, IL. Burial will follow at the Moravian Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10AM to service time at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Zion United Methodist church in West Salem.
