Harold Ray Provine

Harold was born June 2, 1934 in Parkersburg to Amelia “Millie” Ledeker and Edward B. Provine.

He was injured early in life and as a result, suffered from Stastic Cerebral Palsy. Harold was a member of the First Christian Church in West Salem, IL, was an Honorable Volunteer Fireman with the West Salem Volunteer Fire Department, was a newspaper carrier for several years and was an avid Cub fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Roy, Byron, Walt and Russell and two sisters: Mary and Lucille.

He is survived by two sisters: Edna M. Smith of Mt. Carmel, IL and Jean Gonzalez of Mesa, AZ, one sister-in-law; Berta Provine of Seattle, WA, niece Carol Provine Neal of Springfield, IL, and several other nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11AM at the First Christian Church in West Salem, IL. Burial of cremains will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Parkersburg, IL.
