Betty Dee-Crowther

Betty Dee-Crowther, age 87, passed away on July 30, 2016 in Magna, Utah. She was born on March 4, 1929 in East Millcreek, Utah to Wilmer Henry Florence and Mabel May Wilkenson. She graduated from Granite High School.

Betty loved family and church and helped all whom she was able to. She also added to her family 135+ foster children who she loved and cared for through hard times after losing two small children of her own, Ricky and Marleen Hathaway.

She is survived by her children: Robert L. Hathaway, JoAnne Hathaway and Alida Joyce Higley; siblings: Edith, Lila, Claudia, Marian, Martha, Kathleen, Gene, Val, George and Larry; 14 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Magna East Stake Center, 7960 West Dalesend Drive, Magna, Utah at 3:00 p.m. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church, and one hour prior to the service. For condolences, please visit www.valleyviewfh.com
