Saddened to hear of Barry's passing.  We worked together for a short time in the late 80's and he was the DJ at my wedding, playing all our favourite disco hits.  Good memories from long time ago.  My sympathies to his family and friends.

Barry was gifted in touching everyone he met. His kindness, humour and positive attitude was infectious everywhere he went. He loved and respected his friends and family which showed thru without him even trying. He was my angel that graced not only myself but everyone around him. His void will never be filled but with hope it will be replaced by the incredible enjoy and happiness he exuded. Bear and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the blesses and well wishes from everyone. Bear will be missed forever. X

Lori, my thoughts are with you. But when I think of my friend Barry all I can do is smile. Though it was sometimes years between he and I crossing paths, it was always as though  we had just spoken and our conversations would pick up right where we had left it at our previous meeting. His sense of humour is what I'll remember most. Barry always enjoyed a joke whether he was giving it or on the receiving end of one. His loss leaves a hole that I'll try to fill with the good memories I have of him.

A truer friend one could not find. Barry and I were roommates for a few years in our early twenties. (who remembers Barry's car- the bumblebee?)  Barry educated me in the finer points of rock and roll (saved me from Disco), the fairer sex (he led by example), and most of all living life on ones own terms. No matter how long the absence we always picked up where we left off - as great friends. I am proud he is my friend and my heart goes out to all his loved ones. His genuine (and somewhat unique) laughter will live on forever in my mind (and I am sure many others)!

I will miss my twin brother from another mother and another father.  From the moment we were reunited 12 years ago, we had a special bond. I feel so blessed to have been part of your life since you made everyone around you feel happier just for knowing you. You had the Beet sense of humor that always had everyone laughing without trying! 

Thanks for always being open to sharing how much you cared about your family and friends. You had a great passion, love for life and lived it to the fullest. I promise to do my best to keep the "BEET" going on.  I love you always and forever, your cousin Coralee.
