Barry taught our boys at Blueridgev Elementary a kind,caring,dedicated teacher. We enjoyed his company in curling circles- In addition,I had the pleasure and honour to teach his   3  great children. He always seemed ageless- classy and such dignity.- a twinkle in his eye. Our deepest condolences to his beautiful family. He has left us far too early. 

I knew Barry through St Stephens Anglican in West Van. He and Mary would create the most stunning intricate displays. Made all the more amazing by Barry climbing ladders to drape yards and yards of billowing fabric. His warm personality made St Stephens all the more welcoming.  Barry will be missed. 

I worked with Barry for many years at Lynnmour.  He was truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met.  He was always there to lend a hand, no matter how physically hard the task was.   Barry, our Friday  night  Lynnmour gang  will raise a glass for you next time we get together.....with many fond memories.

Barry was our backyard neighbour. His strength and willingness to lend a hand are remembered during our kitchen renovation and seasonally, when he’d heave snow tires into my car. Barry was so faithful to Bailey, walking him up our hill everyday into the trails of Cypress Park. May he now be able to peacefully rest.
